Davíð Kristjánsson

Davíð Kristjánsson was raised on the farm Skógsnes, which is located in the center of Iceland’s southern lowlands and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. He now lives in the town of Selfoss, where he was born.
Davíð studied mechanical engineering and computer programming and has previously worked as a farmhand, metal worker, plumber, and shop assistant; in web design and programming; and as an assistant for people with disabilities. Currently, he works at one of the largest public utility companies in Iceland, Orkuveita Reykjavíkur (Reykjavík Energy), supplying clean, environmentally safe energy to customers.
Davíð’s hobbies include literature, theatre, music, astronomy, history, genealogy, and the art of photography. He and his wife Drífa Eysteinsdóttir have five children and eight grandchildren.
